John LeVangie
John LeVangie est né à Halifax, en Nouvelle-Écosse. Ses parents sont Augustus et Florella (Boudreau) LeVangie. Il a commencé à créer des œuvres d’art dès son enfance.
Il trouve son inspiration dans la beauté de la création. Il préfère essayer de créer quelque chose qui reflète la beauté qui l’entoure en utilisant principalement des sculptures en acier, bien qu’il ait travaillé dans plusieurs autres médiums dans le passé.
Il n’y a pas d’artiste en particulier qu’il recommanderait aux autres, mais il apprécie et a une certaine partialité envers les artistes avec lesquels il a appris. Tu peux trouver un couple de ses œuvres à la Société acadienne Sainte-Croix.

He prefers to try to create something that reflects the beauty around him using primarily steel sculptures, although he has worked in several other mediums in the past.
